Dr. Prashant Paraye
Assistant Professor
Dr. Prashant Paraye recently joined as an Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Bhopal, with specialization in heat transfer, injection molding and machine learning-based process optimization. Prior to this role, he served as a Lecturer at CIPET and Truba College of Science and Technology, and also gained industry experience as a Design Engineer.
With over seven years of combined academic and industry experience, Dr. Prashant has developed strong expertise in thermal systems, CFD simulations, advanced manufacturing and predictive modeling. His research focuses on conformal cooling channel design, polymer processing, additive manufacturing and AI-driven manufacturing optimization. He has published multiple SCI research papers, presented at international conferences and holds design patents in injection molding cooling systems. He is committed to integrating research with teaching, mentoring students in mechanical design, thermal engineering and data-driven engineering analysis, while actively contributing to research and development initiatives.
